Thanks for the links to the I,Cringely site. Interesting, and hadn't been there before. The 401(k) issue struck a nerve with me. I've been doing a little research into "socially responsible investing" in an attempt to convince my employers to offer a more palatable option in our 401(k) plan, after discovering some of the ickier entrants in our various fund options. Futile effort, of course.
